My second favorite animated trilogy...

Admittedly, that doesn't mean much given there are very few animated trilogies but I do mean in a very positive way. The Toy Story trilogy is my favorite but this trilogy has been very good. I actually think the three movies work very well together. yes, the story beats are pretty familiar from movie to movie but it really feels that the series builds on top of each other. The animation has been wonderful and the voice acting is top notch. I suppose HTTYD trilogy could challenge it if that series maintains its quality as well.

I really like the Kung Fu Panda movies, just saw the third one tonight. Personally enjoyed it a alot of good parts, love the animation. I would say that Kung Fu Panda trilogy is neck in neck with Toy Story trilogy. (Hotel Transyvannia and How to Train your dragon are also other really good animated movie series) Stellar voicecast, I know some of the stuff may be familiar, but I still think its a really special treat. I don't know if they will make a 4th Kung Fu Panda.
