Now I may have missed it, but how did Kai leave the Spirit World in the 1st place?
By draining Oogway's chi?
He said he was draining it for 500 years, but Oogway wasn't dead for that long fo Kai to drain his chi away....
Kai drained the chi of every warrior he came across. He just needed Oogway's chi to get him the final power boost he needed to escape.
sharefrom my understanding oogway was well over 500 years old before he "died". I don't remember verbatim but he said to Kai: "took you 500 years!!" which implied how long it's been since their fight. Turtles are known to live a long time, not that long of course but yeah that's what I got out of it.
