Is this like Madagascar 3?

The trailer looked horrible, and Kung Fu Panda 2 was a real let down so I am a little surprised to see that KP3 is doing well in the box office and also getting good reviews. I remember when Madagascar 3 turned out to be surprisingly good after its predecessor and the trailer just made me lose interest in seeing it. If it is anywhere near as good as Madagascar 3, I'm going to regret not seeing it in theaters.

You might as well just see it in theatres. Its pretty solid, not perfect, but there are really nice visuals that would benefit from seeing it on the big screen.

Be wary of trailers. Too often, they make a movie look dumb and sometimes they even spoil some of the plot (HTTYD2). This was worth watching in 3D. I want to get back to the theater to see it in 3D again before they start moving it to 2D only showings.

Madagascar 3 was better than 2? Really?????? I thought two was the best Madagascar movie. The circus one was very forgettable.

In addition, this one lacked the emotion I thought it needed. I felt of the Kung Fu Pandas each got a little worse. None were bombs but this one was just good not great.

I felt of the 6 movies Madagascar 2 was the best. So maybe you'll love this because we obviously have different tastes.
