where did the other masters go?

so after po defeated kai, all that were captured were instantly transported back into the mortal world specifically in the panda village right? we saw bear,chiken,croc, and the main master characters..but what happened to the other masters that were captured alive or was in the mortal realm? like master eagle,ox,lizard and all masters in china? where did they go?
granted shifu only said they just vanished earlier in the film so it could be not kai's doing but i just concluded that kai took them also .

I thought Kai had taken them, too, and wasn't paying attention to who was returned and who was missing. I simply assumed that all living masters had returned to the mortal realm and all the past masters returned to the spirit world with their chi intact.
