So, the Wushi Finger Hold sends mortals to the spirit realm. Po did that to Tai Lung in the 1st movie. So, does that mean that Tai Lung was in the spirit realm with Oogway & Kai?

Ty Lung could have easily been one of Kai's victims. That would have been a cool way to bring him around again without the hastle of rehiring Mcshane to reprise the role, seeing as the Jombies were silent.

When Kai confronts Oogway at the very beginning, he says that he has defeated everyone in the spirit realm.
We'll need a DVD close up to see if the ones on Kai's belt could be Tai Lung, but even if its not there Tai Lung was defeated by process of elimination.

Tai Lung can be seen as one of Kai's chi collection on multiple occasions. Though it would have been great if he become a jombies, guess they just want to show small Easter egg of him.
