The lighting was truly magnificent. Those jade greens, and those sunset oranges were impressive. I had to look on the internet for who was responsible for those. (Apparently is Pablo Valle.)
I feel that the movie was better than Kung Fu Panda 2, balancing the adventure / action bits with character development in a pretty fun way. But the colours are the things that I most remember, pretty stunning.
I never really understood what the lighting crew does in an animated feature. What exactly is it and how is it separate from the other visual effects? It was a vibrant movie.
shareI love this movie better than the previous 2 movies. The second one came out during a particularly bad period in my life and somehow affected my enjoyment of it. This third movie was just absolutely fun. I am glad that depression did not ruin my love for this trilogy.
I agree with you that the lighting was great. There was also tons of action in this movie compared to the other 2. Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed this movie. Second one was ok, just came at a bad time for me.
