Every post of yours tells someone to shut up and typically includes an insult. This is a discussion board and people are going to have different opinions. If you can't handle that or refrain from calling them names when they don't agree with you, then you shouldn't be here.
shareeven though I don't give a sh!t about this movie, ohnooos you telling someone they shouldn't be on here because another user insults and tells someone to shut up, but it's alright to bring up racial stuff such as this thread was clearly about? oy veh...you need to straighten out your priorities.

Firstly, this poster's typical response to anyone who says anything negative about the movie is to tell them to shut up and then he follows up with a personal attack. My response to him was after reading (and reporting) many of such troll-like posts.
Secondly, it is a valid concern that Hollywood in general, not this movie in particular, necessarily, but the entire industry, has a low representation of black performers. More often than not, leading roles are given to white performers. If films were made in a country with only a few blacks among the population, it would be less of a concern.
My particular feelings on this topic is that it's difficult to criticize any one film for a lack of a certain representational minority unless you're looking at a movie of, say, Native Americans, and there are no Native American performers in the cast. Affirmative action doesn't work when it comes to performances, but it would be nice to see more black characters and performers in animation in general.
I'll type this: Racist or not I hope they do not cast an African American, Middle Eastern, or an Asian as James Bond because that would be an insult, but that can also be said for some iconic roles even though I enjoyed Will Smith in Wild Wild West

These are pandas. Strictly speaking they are black and white.
shareOh give it up. There are far more white actors than black so what. If there were more blacks than whites in Hollywood then more blacks would be in movies...
shareThis isn't really about KFP3 or even who is talented and more to do with society and economics. This is about breaking that glass ceiling. When Hollywood was casting the lead for the Kung Fu TV series, Bruce Lee, who came up with the idea for the show, was rejected for being too Asian. Was he too Asian for the character? No, he was too Asian for white audiences at the time and white audiences drove marketing and the economy.
There's been a lot of discussion about under-representation of blacks in lead roles and it doesn't seem right to simply dismiss objections out of hand. However, it doesn't really make sense to discuss it on the KFP3 board.

shareShould we also say there needs to be more whites in basketball? Or that there needs to be more white NFL running backs?
Give it up already. Like any job in America, it should go to who is most qualified.
I'm so sick of this drama filled, tit for tat, PC world that we live in today. Social media and the media in general is a lot to blame for this nonsense. Grow up and get a life.
There were no whites or blacks in this movie, they're all animals
