Boring ass movie.
I just saw this movie and it's a drag. You feel no attachment to the characters. The leads have little chemistry. The dialogue is empty. It's an unnecessary film. Don't waste your time.
shareThe thing with this film is that it was made for the actors not the actors to create the characters of this film.I was really looking forward to something with this film.The truth is it doesnt amount too anything its sums dont equal a whole the actors are just doing acting exercises .Kristen bell cant act the girl has absolutelty no range what so ever .Mamie gummer could of shown some range but this was so poorly written.That she was unable to show any kind of range what so ever this isnt about characters .
This is about the directors/writers ambitions to be seen as artistic throw in some soothing music.We are supposed to believe this is a artful movie that is supposed to make us aware of something important .Amy madigan was the highlight of this film that was about it . Everybody else just kind of drifting from one scene to the next .They characters just seemed to appear out of no where there was no evidence that they came from anywhere.By and large the characters are two dimensional just the same as with the story .It's nothing you havent seen or heard before.Personally if your curious enough id say watch it but dont go spend full price to watch it .I'd say wait till you could get it on bootleg or if theres a dollar cinema near you where you wont waste your money on it .
