This movie is one big Sigh after another...

*May contain spoilers*

The problem I had is he was a typical 16 year old with teen age problems and even though she was 29/almost 30 she might as well have been a 16 year old too. Mentally she was younger than the boy because she obviously had a fear of being responsible which is down right ugly on a woman in her 30's when she should be well into making a way for herself by now. She felt as if she was going through an early mid-life crisis. Which is fine if she plan's on dying at 60. Otherwise she was too young to be this freaking useless. Add pot and booze to an already peon brain moments and it's just downright painful for a person who never was one of those "follower" type kids

First this girl should even be involved with a grown man much less a kid. She need to find herself first. I personally wouldn't want her involved with my son who is at the age where he should be enjoying himself and discovering who he is going to become. This girl, I can't bring myself to call this character a woman seems bipolar in her character.

This is a good movie to point out the problem with most men and women. They get into these unhealthy relationships and I'm not talking about the age difference, I'm talking about relationships with insecure people when they themselves are at a needy and emotional place in their lives. Then they look for these already confused sad people to make them happy. Then it's suddenly it's everyone else at fault they aren't happy. Everyone but their own fault. The blame it on the drugs...blame it on the booze...blame it on the popular kids...ect...it goes on and on...like my posting here. LOL

I found this movie makes everyone appear hopeless and unhappy. They could at least allowed the secondary characters to be happy. Why be in relationships when it doesn't bring out the best in you? What was the point of this movie? Misery loves company? When adulthood sucks return to the most awkward unsure years of your life and start all over? No way do I want to be a teenager again. I'm in my 40's and I love the liberation and awareness I feel as an adult woman.

I saw the poster for this and thought I was getting a lighthearted summer of romance theme movie. I mean who has unprotected bathroom sex, this day and age? Dumb. Dumb. Dumb.
