Question About Last Scene in Movie....

In the last scene, Kristen Bell looks directly into the camera and smirks. I can't figure out if this is a hint at something. Does anyone have any insight? It just seemed very random to me, and didn't fit with the tone of the film.

I thought she was showing that she wasn't going to be okay. Essentially her "lie" is over. When I say lie I mean that "anything is possible and I have all the time in the world" lie (you are told by parents, teachers etc) and feeling you had growing up and into early adulthood.
You feel that way until one day you realize that everything isn't possible, that even though you are still young, you really grasp the idea that you wont be young forever and that you don't have all the time in the world.

I'm not sure if that's supposed to thematically tie into anything with the plot of the story or not. Occasionally, filmmakers do that, where the actor looks into the camera at the last second of the movie (or the top continues to spin, occasionally faltering ever so slightly). I generally think this is just sort of a farewell glance to end the movie or that sometimes, depending on the situation, it's intended to trigger some sort of self-reflection. Like turning the attention toward you to bring about some feeling and meditation based on the events of the movie. Most of all, it's probably a device to evoke some thought and be left up to each individual viewer to be interpreted in their own way.

I didn't read too much into it, but it did catch my attention. My thoughts? It was the character's way of signalling her journey is not yet over. She's picked up some "tools" and lessons, but she is continuing on--not to live a perfect life, but to make more discoveries.
