Why this movie is "feminist"

Main reasons:

1. It revolves around a woman, and the story is seen from a female perspective. Meaning it gives value to her issues, even though they might seem unimportant to some.

2. The main female character is not in full-blown make up, does not dress provocatively, and her overall appearance is like that of a normal, everyday woman. Most films wanna make us believe that women are fully made up, with perfect hair and makeup, wearing heels all day long.

3. The sex scenes are normal! Neither one of them looks like a pornstar during them, which is more or less how most women experience sex.

4. The male lead is younger, which literally and symbolically attributes more power/control to the female lead. However he has a lot of insight and emotion to offer, so he's not looked down upon, like most female younger leads are in similar movies when the roles are reversed.

We need more movies like that, just to have different perspectives around, and get used to different images.
