That sad look in the ending.....
Did anybody see any significance of that final glance she gives to the camera at the end?
It seemed to capture the whole tone of the movie; a bit of sadness that the kid saw in her when he first met her.
It seemed like all of the characters led such sad lives, and though the boy moved on to his Mini Mart job in Vermont, I didn't get a sense that any of these peoples issues were resolved.
So in that look, it seemed that though she resolved to move on, her road to some kind of mental clarity was just beginning.
