I think James Caan performance will be amazing in this one. My main problems is that the protagonists don't seems sympathetic at all.
shareYou don't always need the protagonist to be sympathetic (eg Richard the third, Macbeth). If they are annoying and just bad, that's another problem.
Most troublemaking younguns do the opposite of inspire sympathy in this viewer.
"the theory...with the proper execution... to drive an unsuspecting person to believe that they are truly being haunted."
This sample of the dialogue made me cringe, and I suspect these kids will be the weak point of the film.
There are millions of people out there that already believe in ghosts, the supernatural, Jesus etc. This is hardly an interesting experiment, it's just a practical joke.
And "Rear Window for the surveillance era"? I thought "Rear Window for the exhausted 'reality' era" was more appropriate.
