Camera batteries?

It's a movie, sometimes there are plotholes, I know. But what about power for the cameras? I'm no expert in spy cams, but considering how tiny they were, I'd be surprised if they had batteries that would last longer than one or a couple of hours. And this project was supposed to last for six weeks? Granted, they had motion sensors, but there was still a load of footage throughout the movie and most of the cameras would capture the old man for a bunch of hours each day.

Now shame on me if this was explained and I missed it, but it actually bothered me since it makes everything impossible?!

They could have wired them in to the house. They messed with his circut breakers so it's not a big stretch that they wired in at least some of the cameras.

at the end of the movie Sean snatched them down in 1/4 of a second so they weren't hard wired. And the cat knocked one of them down by lightly pawing at it.

But they didn't.

You can't simply wire them into the house wiring without making holes and making a mess. Plus, these two bozos didn't have time to do that kind of work.

Yup, it's a blatant plothole in a crappy movie.
