I guess the "I hate Dawson" crew can be happy.
The character's gone and the actress is not planning to be back. I'm one of the few who liked her, so for me her departure is a loss.

They still haven't really explained how she's going to leave. Her and Casey are still married, wonder if they'll get divorced or if they'll have her get killed in Puerto Rico.
I'll say that I am happy about her leaving, but I wasn't always a hater. It was when she tried to adopt that kid that she became more and more annoying. Towards the end I could barely stand her (it was the writing, not the actress) because she just stomped around doing whatever she wanted without taking her husband into account. And that's how she was written out of the show too! I'm glad she is gone, but for me it was the writing, not the actress. I wish they had made some other choices with her character!
share100% agree
shareI didn't like her, but she is missed because Casey is kind of bland with her.
shareDo you mean withOUT her? I was never a hater, but I think after I started reading how people felt about her, it colored my own thoughts. The two seemed to lack chemistry, which was bad since they were the #1 couple on the show. Never saw her on Lie To Me (I don't watch stuff on faux) but I'll bet she was good. I like Tim Roth and I would guess he would not work with someone who wasn't up to speed. And her IMDb photo is quite flattering, nice booty. I guess with Fire, she just didn't get into the swing. I'm not sure Jesse Spencer is a particularly good actor, although I did like him on House. A completely different persona.
shareyeah I meant without.
