Severide and the Car accident
Okay, the mom in the hospital said she was at the double door. That's a bar. How old was the "child"? If she was a teen, she shouldn't have been in the bar; just saying.

sharewhat p!sses me off is that even if he didnt cause the accident he still admitted to driving while being over twice the legal limit, and he gets away with it !!
should be automatically banned from driving and get at least a suspension !!
I didn't watch Chicago PD, did anyone watch it?
How did it end, did he really drive it and get away with it?
Essentially he did. They found the car jackers. He ended up saying to Lindsey that he needed to change his life/turn his life around.
shareYes he admitted to getting behind the wheel but remembers that he pulled over a couple of blocks from the bar when he realized he shouldn't be driving. That's when he was car jacked. Severide does tell Erin (prior to them finding out exactly what happened and that he wasn't behind the wheel) that if he really was driving when the crash happened to not try to save him. He tells her to let him rot in jail.

I don't condone what Severide did, but they actually said he only made it one block before he realized how impaired he was. He did the right thing by walking away when he knew he shouldn't be driving. He also heeded the wake-up call.
The other thing that really bothered me was the failure to cite the mother for driving with a child traveling in the back seat without a child seat/safety belt. That is against the law. Had the stupid mother strapped in her daughter as she should have, the child probably would have survived. That was a teachable moment.
