I actually like and appreciate Anna because she seems like the one truly "pure" spirit on the show. She hasn't been tainted by any dark baggage like most of the other characters. The downside of that, of course, is that her character feels overly sunny sometimes and a bit of a caricature. She sure does try very hard to be bright and full of life and it can be a bit irritating sometimes. She is adorable though and I think most viewers probably forgive the character.
Now Gino, on the other hand, I find very irritating. He seems very contrived and not a truly living, breathing person. It's hard for me to accept him as a real character on the show.
