Peter hiding his identity felt a bit weird, since he's in the MCU

None of the other MCU characters hid their identity.

reply

Well, to be fair he was still just a kid.

reply

Its a plot hole within the MCU

reply

How is it a plot hole?

reply

Everything is a plot hole unless proven otherwise

reply

Pretty sure that's not how it works. Regardless, Peter hiding his identity doesn't create an inconsistency in the narrative of the story or his character.

reply

Actually his identity is also a plot hole. A radio active spider cannot bite you and give you super powers. If it was that easy we would have well over a million spider people in the world. Myself included

reply

I don't think you understand fiction.

reply

I understand fiction as plot holes

The thing I find weird is that he is "hiding " his identity yet during the action he pulls his mask off every opportunity he gets. I understand it's because Tom Holland has it in his contract that he has to appear unmasked for a certain amount of the movie but it doesn't work.
