Stark's Mentoring in Future Films (spoilers)

I really like dthe way they played up the mentoring between Peter and Stark in this movie. It was really poignent at the end too when You could see Tony was hoping that Peter would stay: he is enjoying being a father-type figure (and probably still resolving his own father/dad issues considering the constant refernces made in the comic. Do you think this plot line will continue in other Spidrman films? What about Happy and his new appreciation for Peter?

Next he can mentor Superman and Batman in a DC crossover and they can stare at him with their jaws open saying how awesome he is.

I really enjoyed the dynamic between Tony, Peter, and Happy in this film. I'm sure we'll get more of it in Infinity War, since Spider-Man has to get brought into the fold somehow.

We should certainly get more of it in Infinity War. However, since Tony is supposedly not going to be in the sequel to Homecoming, I'm guessing he'll have enough confidence in the kid after Infinity War and decide to take a step back. But who knows, I would happily like to see this mentoring continue. It was very well-done in this movie, better than I had expected. And as for Happy, it feels like he's going to play an important role in Peter's life.

Yeah, that would be great with Happy's character if he became a regular with the Spiderman series. As far as Stark goes I think the mentoring adds so much depth to his character that I wish it could continue in some way in the Spiderman movies, even if it's only an occasional cameo

I also liked Tony mentoring Peter; it was a nice touch for both characters. Especially since Tony didn't have a good relationship with his father, and Peter lost his uncle.

Yes, that's one of the reasons why I want to see it continue, to develop Tony's character in this regard

For me the acting was so bad between Robert and Tom in those scenes it was distracting. Funny, I don't remember it being a problem in Civil War. So not sure what happened this time. Seemed phoned in tbh.

Also just in general I did not like so much Tony Stark in this. He seemed like the irresponsible parent. You know one parent says no so you ask the 'fun' parent (clueless parent) to get the answer you want. And if the other one complains you just say the other one said yes....

To review....Mr. Stark gave a 15yo boy a suit with the ability to kill people, told him to get into 'lightly' dangerous situations, then is shocked that he bites off more then he can chew? Umm IM looked so desperate to me to get a fu$#%^& 15yo boy to fight a scary maybe deadly battle on the other side of the earth! Then let him keep the suit.

'Sexy' (I cringe each time I say it) aunt May said it best "Not a fan of that Tony Stark." Also will never forget when Tony said I hope she is wearing something skimpy, in front of her nephew! Wtf?
