How should the soundtrack be like?

What would you imagine it to be like? Instrumental based or lyrical songs?

Hopefully Danny Elfman comes back to score the film. His score of the first Raimi Spider-man trilogy was brilliant! I hope they hire him and he can make some new music for this movie OR take some theme music from the 90's Spider-man Animated show and Spectacular Spider-man.

I'm glad you mentioned that, one of the reasons I liked Spiderman 1 and 2 is because of the soundtrack, which happened to be released months before the movies release. I hope they add a couple of Alt Rock songs to the movie, just like old times.

I agree. Say what you want about Nickelback, you have to admit his song 'Hero', was another highlight of the Raimi trilogy. It blended so well with the tone of the movie. Here's a link to refresh your memory.

Nothing trying to be hip or trendy that uses pop artists or whatever.

What's missing in movies is same as in society: a good sense of work ethic and living up to ideals.
