I want Venom later, but not now. If this series goes for longer than the original trilogy, I'm sure it will if it proves popular.
Say around the third film introduce the symbiote, have Spidey wear it and show the affect it has over a whole film. At the end he gets rid of it but it doesn't show where it goes, in that same film they can set up Eddie Brock and the conflict between them.
Then Venom can appear later on, a whole film to show him and after time to fully explore the symbiote storyline. How I'd like it to be used anyway.
In a Spider-Man movie or his own solo movie?
What's missing in movies is same as in society: a good sense of work ethic and living up to ideals.
I can't imagine Venom being a solo film especially if the antagonist or threat is Carnage - would just be a mess of slime and teeth and roaring noises without any plot or drama or heart - I could see it happening if the protagonist was Agent Venom because not only is Flash a hero (to an extent) but he's also good enough to route for and interact with other MCU characters as well as adding heart and drama to the story - no way Venom Carnage is happening or succeeding without Agent Venom or Flash wearing the suit
shareI think you can do a solo Venom movie but not as a traditional superhero story. More like a horror film like a slasher or thriller.
