Ray Donovan: Horses

Best Ray Donovan episode so far. I say "so far" because I have a lot of gut faith in the new show runner. Something is building here. The series, with its cast, has always had great potential. Lieve Schreiber's role as Ray is, in my opinion, one of his best, almost up there with James Galdofini as Tony Soprano. The new scripts, which take time to take hold,encourage me. Abby's passing was hearttending, tragic and yet empowering, in that SHE determined the extent of the suffering that she would endure. Ray, her husband's, efforts to save her, were literally heroic. His fight with that Mussad agent? Brilliant and heroic. PLEASE don't miserstand how I mean this: That woman was one tough fucking bitch. This was the first Ray Donovan fight scene that I would put in the same category with fight scenes on Banshee, the ne plus ultra of premium cable of fight scene shows. I will absolutely keep watching.
