A long shot bet of that magnitude, even spread across different time zones, will get noticed. Sports books are not stupid and are a lot more connected than people think.

If your trying to establish reality on this show then you'll lose. This show has jumped the shark that jumped the shark.

If bets of that magnitude are placed that far ahead of the fight doesn't it change the odds also (as in betting wise it's not as much of a longshot?)

In almost all gambling other than Horse racing, you get the odds at the time you place the bet.

If the odds later go down, it doesn't affect your bet one iota.
