Just wondering what you think of the accents. They are all speaking in more or less the same way - Ray, Sully, Abby - the way they say 'alright' for example, so I guess they are trying to affect a Boston Irish accent. Is it convincing?
shareNot from Southie but local guy...the accent is ok...Ray has gotten better by the 3rd year...Micky is excellent...he does some cool old guy mannerisms you see old guys around here do.

From Mass but not Southie. Knew lots of people from that area. The Southie accents are some of the best you will get from Hollywood. Most TV shows/movies that are supposed to be in Mass have a Maine accent IMO.
They did screw up in one episode where Ray says something about "Dorchester Street". It is Dorchester Ave and he would have said Dot Ave.
