Is there a next season ???
There seem to not be any loose ends?
shareYep, but don't count on the loose ends being tied up for us. Last season ended with Ray on deaths door being driven to somewhere(?) by the priest. I don't remember how they cleared that up this year so it must have been anticlimactic.

Thanks, I missed that. I suppose I was expecting something more dynamic since the last scene was so ambiguous. I believe it inspired quite a lively discussion on this board if memory serves.
shareYes it was renewed for a season 5 set to air in July 2017. While the finale did seem to wrap up everything in a neat and tidy bow this is ray donovan the happy endings won't last long. I'm sure we in for crazy ride next season.
shareUnfortunately, yes, there is.

I get the feeling this season finale was a "pushing the reset button" moment for them. I'm hoping next season will get back on track.
shareI had the same feeling but with Showtime, I'm not sure. Dexter went from bad to awful, Homeland had a reset after season 3 but never got as brilliant as the first season. I wished they had stopped at season 4 with Ray being killed.
sharePeople , shut up! If you don't like the show don't watch it, seems like a simple solution to me. Once again liev was nominated. Show must be doing something right! Can't stand losers that constantly bitch about the show like it's terrible, but still watch and butch about why they don't like it. Stupid
shareIt sucks this board is infested with haters. Do ppl really think whining about the show is going to cause those that like it to stop watching? Or simply to just cause arguments? This is entertainment if the show isn't doing it for you find something else to watch I don't see what's so hard about ppl not grasping this simple concept. Nothing is more pathetic then "hate watching" a show. If I stop enjoying a show I stop watching.
shareIf I stop enjoying a show I stop watching.
Oh I more than understand that when you invest into a show its hard to simply give it up. The same happened to me in the last two seasons of true blood. I stuck with it but after that I told myself entertainment shouldn't be a chore to watch. Now if I no longer enjoy a show I don't force myself to stick with it.
shareSons of Anarchy was one that I hung onto till the bitter end, although I found the final season almost unbearable to watch. Then.....it wound up having a stupid season finale, on top of it all!
And yet, when that show first came on, it was one of the very best things on TV, and remained so for a few years.
Well I disagree I loved the final season of SOA. The only season of SOA I didn't care for was season 6.
