I don't understand why Ray took a picture of Hector with Marisol behind him
in the bathtub, using Marisol's phone, only to leave the phone in Marisol's
car after texting Hector.

If he wanted some sort of leverage, why not take the picture with his own
phone?

I'm not sure it was her phone he took the picture with, Ill have to watch it again. If it is, thats a good catch, and a major continuity error.
