I binge watched all 4 seasons starting back in Jan 2016. Ray does not seem to have any friends, who do what he does. Ray seems to be very awkward.
Is Ray a low level or a high level person to contact for help.
Did I miss others who do what Ray does?
There was a couple of episodes this season with Stacy Keach playing Marty aka "The Texan." The Texan also worked for Ezra and told Ray that he did the real crappy jobs because "Ezra liked you best." He got shot and Ray got a bunch of money from a safe that had belonged to Ezra and gave it to Keach's estranged daughter at the hospital.

When you go to the grocery store, do you usually ask the 100k a year guy where the bathroom is or the 20k a year person? Why? Probably accessibility. If you had a more serious issue the 100k a year person would help you. There are people who make 500k-1M a year working for huge grocery store chains that you never see because you don't rate their help. Make sense? If my allusion escapes you still: Ezra was the 10M a year grocery guy, Ray the 1M. Substitute "insurance" for grocery. And you've got Ray Donovan.
