If Obamacare's a tax...

Sorry, I didn't know where else to post this. I want to see what you guys think about this.

*please no trolling*

On July 28th, 2012, the Supreme Court judged The Affordable Health care Act Constitutional (on a condition).

They stated that as a mandate the law was unconstitutional; but is constitutional if considered as a tax. Because of the way the bill is set up (involvement of the IRS, etc.) the Supreme Court ruled that the bill was constitutional.

But... In article 1 of the Constitution it clearly states that ONLY CONGRESS has the right to enact a tax. Obamacare was passed by the senate.

So... If Obamacare isn't a tax then it's unconstitutional. and if it is a tax then due to its being passed in the Senate it's unconstitutional.

It looks like somebody F'd up...

(I'm not saying we should tear down Washington to repeal the law or anything, but didn't anybody notice this??)

Yeah, the whole thing is just one on-going f' up. Illegal and unconstitutional provisions all over it.

Of course his zealot supporters couldn't care less.

The senate is part of congress. It's confusing, but the house and senate are both part of congress.

reply

The ACA was passed by both houses of Congress in 2010. The Democrats controlled both houses of Congress in 2010.

reply

Dude, Google the definition of Congress.
