Loved It
Ok, so I didn't think I was going to, but I loved it. It was a very campy movie but that's what it was intended to be. Reminded me a little bit of Lynch (although nowhere near as weird, I am a huge Lynch fan)... also reminded me of another movie I loved this year, Cold in July.
I LOVED Woodleys performance, she was real and I loved her scenes with her friends, seemed improvisational because it was really real. Meloni and Green were great as well, and Dale Dickey as the blind neighbor was an added bonus of camp/fun :)
As for the ending, which I will not spoil, I didn't find it that shocking because.... unfortunately, I knew there was going to BE a twist. The hype for this movie has been "OMG the shocking ending, there's a twist", which made me pay attention to the movie going in. There are some hints to the ending so I wasn't gasping when it happened... but overall I loved the 80's/early 90's vibe and the movie just had it's own feeling that was really cool. Not for everybody but I highly enjoyed it.
