Ive seen all of gregs other films

This is awful. The acting was terrible. I realize this was based off a book and i know greg has a flair for the dramatic but this was poorly done. I lived the soundtrack and imagery though.

Other than the soundtrack and the fact that it centered on young people it bore no resemblance to his other films. Even the texture and colors were off. Maybe this was intended, to be more mainstream since the actors were, but I was kind of bummed.

I liked it (except the ending). It did not have the feel.of his normal work but I thought Woodley did well.

I feel the opposite. I can't stand most of Arakis films and I only watch them--if at all--for the female nudity (which they have an awful lot of considering he is an openly gay filmmaker). This is not great, but it is appreciably better than his other stuff .
