haven't read the book, etc.

i remember it was quite a good Hitchcock picture.
will give this 2020 version a try for sure!

I read the book in college Lit Class. Loved it. When the movie came to local theater for nostalgia, I took my grandmother to see it.

did you find the 1940s film fairly similar or were you a bit disappointed?

Similar to this version or similar to the book? Either answer is no. All three have their own unique differences.

FYI: Just watched this version last night.
