Just finushed a marathon of season 4, and wow what a season!!

I have to admit I was on the verge of giving this one up. After the stellar first season, season 2 was a small let down. It was still good, but it just seemed they were on the way to loosing control of the story. I attributed it to typical sophomore slump. Happens with most shows. I figured they would bounce back just fine in season 3. Then..

I'm sorry but season 3 was a hot mess. Half the time I had no clue what was going on. I just didn't care about the whole CASTOR situation. I understand why they went there, but it just didn't work. Way too much time spent on the male clones who I had no clue which was which and what each one's deal was supposed to be. I'm sure Ari Millen can hold his own, but there was just not enough to distinguish all the male clones, and I completely lost the plot. I decided I would give season 4 a few episodes, but I wasn't down for another slogfest of a season. Then..

Season 4 comes along and blows my mind. By far the best since the first. I was glued to my TV waiting for each episode to start. They wisely stripped down the story and just let Tatiana shine without getting bogged down in over complicated plots. If you are wondering, like I was, if you should watch season 4, rest assured this show is back to being the best thing on TV. Can't wait until next year

I understand that what you wrote is only your opinion. However, this is just factually incorrect.
The plot was certainly not simplified and stripped down. Brightborn? Evie Chou? The island? The goose? Westmoreland? Bad cops? Neolution? Beth's return? Kira's powers? The list goes on.

It sounds as if you did not read any other posts on this message board before writing. There are many threads that get very specific on these issues.

Your opinion is valid, but I don't want to mislead anyone really trying to get a true glimpse of what is actually occurring in season 4.
