Noogle Caps: Trivia Or Goof?

In the scene with all the intern candidates wearing their propeller-topped Noogle caps, they are shown as having a yellow segment on the front, blue on the right, and red on the left. My son joined Google as a software engineer in 2011 and I have his cap right here in front of me now. The central segment is orange, with red on the right, and yellow on the left. It does not have "Noogle" embroidered on the front. Also, his propeller is green, not blue as in the movie. Maybe the caps were redesigned after 2011.

I think it's a goof. The trivia section states that other than letting 20th Century Fox use the Google name, the movie was made from very little input from Google itself. I'm sure that the costume or props department knew what colors are in the Google logo and designed it, without considering how the cap really looks. They should have used a continuity expert or someone to check that.

My vote is for goof, as it was an inaccuracy that wasn't likely checked by anyone on the crew.
