After seeing the original film (Heat) starring Burt Reynolds I feel that there is something missing from this one.

When Burt Reynolds character teaches Cyrus Kinnick how to fight and to be a bad ass he gets more confidence and stops being afraid. So Cyrus paid the money and gave him the ticket as a thank you.

In this film Michael Angarano's Cyrus Kinnick learnt a cheap lesson that everyone is afraid so he gave Jason Statham's character the money and a ticket.

I was expecting Jason Statham's character to show Michael Angarano's how to fight and be a bad ass instead I get some cheap lesson about how that everyone is afraid.

I was looking forward to see Michael Angarano be a bad ass the writers really dropped the ball with this one the original film "Heat" is much better.

The only things missing in this remake are:

a) A decent plot
b) Acting skills

I gotta say Burts version is better.
