75% - 25%

the fight scenes in this movie where excellent. very well done. I will start with that.

but if they were only going to make this movie this long, then they should have compressed the first 75% of the movie in the first 25% and the last 25% into the last 75% either that or make it a 2.5 hour long movie - which i would have enjoyed.

They really didn't explore the relationship between nick and duke. i didnt buy his realism at the end when he paid him and said "you deserved it". They really needed to be fleshed out more, would have made for alot more fight scenes, and possibly more comedy (duke's laugh!!??) and a much more enjoyable and memorable movie.

And they could have utilized Jason Alexander more. I hate seeing actors underutilized like this, and IMO statham and alexander were both underutilized in this movie thanks to a short running time and or a screenplay that ran out of time, or money... i expect it was the latter.
