He is my favorite actor, and I watched every movie with him, but this is one of the worst. Movie has a couple of good fight sceenes, and that's it.

Agreed
I turned it off after a few minutes (DTV)
Vey disappointing
Heat was do much better
I thought this movie was garbage too, but you have no business judging an entire movie's quality on the first few minutes.
shareThe first few minutes are totally unrepresentative and are only explained about 15 minutes later why they happened...
Pretty disappointing. It's like Statham wants to branch out and portray characters who have more depth but he can't leave his action background behind. Fast & Furious 7 won't help his reputation. Personally I think he's over his head and needs to stick with action or crime dramas. He basically typecast himself by doing action so he might as well stick with it. The Transporter series is a joke and he shouldn't even go back to it. He should do more movies like Crank that are quite frenetic and comedeic but not much emphasis on his martial arts.
shareHe should do movies like "Parker", "Mechanic" or "Safe".. These movies are very good. :)
sharehe is starting to branch out. He is in the new Melissa McCarthy action comedy movie Spy.

mmarcopolo...Statham can act for sure...you seem to have been missing out on his best movies even if every movie contains alittle fighting atelast. But The Bank Job, Redemption and ofc London is three really good movies with Statham but the two of his best are Lock stock and two moking barrels and snatch...he is hilarious in those two without hitting anyone.
~If the realistic details fails, the movie fails~
Parker was way worse than this one.
I couldn't finish that, even though I'm a Statham fan.
The Transporter movies are like the most of Luc Besson movies(Taken 1-3, Taxi 1-4, etc). Absolutely no realism in them.
In the first transporter, the bad guys hire him to transport the Chinese girl from A to B. And they even paid him a lot of money. Who does that? They acted like they didnt have any cars. They manage to illegally bring in lots of Chinese people, but somehow they can't transport one single person from A to B.
Parker was the worst piece of crap he's done. I'd rather watch Transporter 2 again that watch Parker. Mechanic was decent. Safe was very good. Very gritty and hard-hitting. Regardless, no matter how good those movies are, he's pretty much typecast himself. And in Spy he's just poking fun at the characters and genre he's been working in all this time. Not much of a stretch. I'd love to see him do more things with Guy Ritchie. He would be great in those Sherlock Holmes movies.
shareFor me, Parker is good movie. Also Chaos, Blitz and Homefront are very good.

You are a funny character
My business is exactly that
I don't know if he's past his prime or out of his element when he tries to do a movie genre that isn't nonstop action, but I do know that as of June, 2015 he goes home to Rosie Huntington-Whiteley each night so, you know, that probably helps him forget any problems he might have.
sharePrediction : Jason is the next 'Bond' in a back to basics 'Licensed to Kill' mode.
shareAgreed
Kid on bike "Where you going?"
Charlie Bright ""Somewhere".
