In Seed, he gave up on trying to be human and thought being a doll is better. However in the this film, he goes back trying to take someone's body, in this case, Alice because he doesn't want Nica just to be become the crippled person in which he caused to be born that way. So do you think the 7th or 8th Chucky film will be about Chucky trying to take the soul of Andy's son/daughter so he can finally try to kill Andy once and for all?
shareI hope he does. I hated that part in Seed. It just breaks the character. The revenge stuff they've set up is good and staying a doll makes sense for this but to want to stay that way regardless is stupid imo and pretty silly.
Sure we all like him as the doll but to do away with his original goal kinda ruins his origin. It just makes him a pointless killer. Even if he never achieves becoming human again, continuing to try at least justifies his pursuits and actions as the doll.
