Wrong Turn 2: Dead End or Curse of Chucky?

Curse by far. Don't get me wrong though. I love me some wrong turn 2!

Curse of Chucky. It's not only well-made but respects the tone of the original 3 films. While Bride of Chuck and Seed of Chucky were not necessarily bad, but they were clearly comedies before horror. Curse of Chucky, on the other hand, takes itself seriously and the pay off is great.

Wrong Turn 2: Dead End was good because it felt like it was embracing the campiness of the series. It DIDN'T take itself seriously and the plot was better for it. Where it was scary/tense, it delivered. Where it was tongue-in-cheek funny, it delivered (I LoL'd at ever pun delivered by the military guy).

But, overall, Curse of Chucky is the winner. I hope we get more like in the form of sequels.


