"Service industry" is all that was revealed, unless I completely missed it. Was there some point in withholding that information? Whatever "service industry" he works in, it seems to pay decently, he has a nice apartment.
Very observant. Just watched it again, that scene lasts for a few seconds. Immediately after that he's dancing with and then making out with her. What kind of bartending job allows for that? That's why it didn't register, but thanks.
There is also a conversation between him and Julianna Moore's character outside their class where he states his job.
- Why did you pick this class? - I didn't. - What? - No, it seemed like a good idea. I'm in the service industry now. - You mean you're a waiter? - No. - Bartender? - Yeah, so, if you wanna move up, you gotta go to school.
I remember him saying he was in a service industry, that's why I said that in my first post, but I must have blacked out for the rest of that exchange.
