This is one of the worst movies I have ever seen. I actually have a different image of JGL after this. He wrote and directed this thing....like this is the message he's been wanting to tell the world? What?

Vain, annoying characters. Way too many shots of used tissues, crusty jeans and close ups on his face while he masturbated. What is this movie? I'm supposed to care in any way about them?

This is the part where people say, "There are people who are really like this". To that I respond, "Who cares?" So, there are superficial douchebags in the world, why am I supposed to care?

It boggles my mind that anyone could enjoy this movie. It boggles my mind even more that someone decided this is a story that had to be told in the first place.

I actually thought the movie was about seeing life for what it actually is. Enjoying closeness with another human and accepting them flaws and all.

The main character become a happier, more rounded individual as he stops being a jersey douche bag

I was watching Don Jon when I recalled that I watched The Wolf of Wall Street some months ago. What a heap of junk it was. I wonder how critics gave it rave reviews...8.2??? Sheesh!

I agree. The movie sucked balls.

It wasn't supposed to be a serious movie but if you make the main character as unlikable, you won't have the audience pulling through for you when you're the underdog.

Scarlett Johansson looked like a total bitch, especially with her porn-star manicured nails so readily displayed.

this movie is about showing how you can change from being a superficial, disconnected, porn addict... to a person who really understands women, and connects emotionally to them. The movie actually is pretty deep... You will understand when you are older and when you start to learn what actually turns a woman on and how they value deep emotional connection and passion

Exactly! I think is great.
He thought he was in love with his gf... But he was just fooling himself she was nothing more than a pretty woman he had sex with ... I mean who breaks up over a stupid thing like that! He even told his mother later that he wasnt happy with her. He lied to his friends saying she let her do whatever he wanted to her and that was a lie also.
