the entire ending is confusing as hell, I didn't understand anything
but was the mom real or just a memory?

those were real torturous memories 4 poor lil Parker, until Elise destroyed them for him by sending Michelle crane to the "bad" place beyond the further, and Parker was set free finally from his mom's evilness.w/o his help it would've prolly been harder for Elise.
