I'd believe a talking dog before I'd believe that Blake and Francesca...

could be siblings. They clearly do not share the same ethnic background, and I'm supposed to buy them as full-blooded siblings? All right then.

WE DON'T KNOW if Tyler (Blake) and Chloe (Francesca) are "full-blooded" siblings. All we know is that they have the same dad, Bennett. The show never talks about their birth mother or mothers. Maybe Ellen is Bennett's third wife. It's also totally possible for siblings with the same parents to look completely different!

I agree, not very good casting, (Blake) was clearly cast for his "sugar" appeal to teen-age girls. He appears to have some ethinic mix in his background that clashes with Bennett and Chloe.

I totally agree with everything above. It reminds me of Dale and John Redcorn from King of the Hill. maybe he thinks he's Tyler's dad, and Tyler's mom left him with her lover or died before he could find out the truth. Or they both ( just one of them) knows the truth but accept the situation and act as father and son.

I'm sure Avery must have questioned this when the two families first merged and they handwaved it

Maybe Chloe is adopted and the writers/producers haven't decided to divulge that yet.

Yeah, I know filankey is not a word, but it's gonna catch on.

reply

It would be more believable if it turned out Tyler was adopted, for obvious reasons...
