Maybe, maybe not. 20 years since Boy Meets World first aired, Ben Savage is still known as Cory Matthews and nothing else and now he is reprising the role, so it doesn't seem like he will every escape being Cory. While that isn't the worst fate for a young actor, especially since Cory was a great part on a great show. I'm sure that G. will not forever be known as the girl on Dog with a Blog, regardless of how good or bad Dog with a Blog does. This show is probably just a stepping stone for her, just like ANTFarm is for China, just to name an example. I also doubt she will be on disney into adulthood on mutliple show like Debby Ryan or Jennette McCurdy and Victoria Justice on Nick.

Who knows if Girl MEet World will be a great show like its predecessor and if the lead can escape the role. But I'm sure G. doesn't regret being on DWAB.
