it's a secret he talks? so why does he blog???

One of the big deals about Stan talking, maybe the only big deal, is that it's a secret! No one knows he talks but the kids, right? (Well, Grandma recently found out, and then there was that evil research scientist, but you know what I mean.) So if it's such a big secret that Stan wants to keep from the world, why is he BLOGGING -- telling everybody on a daily basis about his exploits as a talking dog?

I know, I know, it's only a kids' TV show.....

I doubt anyone would actually believe it was a talking dog if they read it online.

Hmmm....good point, Poweranimals. I guess I **would** have my doubts if I read a blog written by a "talking dog." I wonder if Stan is aware of that possible reaction by his readers?

True, true, there may be other talking animals out there who would enjoy reading a blog by one of their own. But what about EVERYBODY ELSE (that is, **human beings**) reading the blog?? Blogs don't restrict who can read them, blogs are open to the whole world! So much for keeping it a secret....

I have watched enough episodes when I babysit one of my neighbor's kids to come to a couple of conclusions about Stan's blog.

1. Stan's blog posts might not be viral enough in hits to be a concern about his real-life talking abilities. Stan might not have enough readers, regarding species, who read his blog. I assume that when Stan blogs, he does not have many readers following everything he does since it's a personal blog.

2. If Stan does have readers, I doubt they really believe Stan can actually talk. Since Stan's blog posts mainly focus on events that happened in the family, particularly between the kids, readers will most likely assume that the blog is actually written by the parents pretending to be their dog Stan, and not Stan himself.
