Was one of those cheerleaders a dude?

Is it just me or did in the episode Dog with a Hog where they fake Stan being kidnapped. When Avery was talking to those three cheerleaders sitting at the bench, did the big one look like a dude? Everytime I see that episode I keep thinking that chick was either a dude in drag or transgender. Can't blame me for thinking that, not like Disney hasn't hinted at this stuff a billion time before. I just want to see if I am alone in this.

(Yes, there is a difference between a dude in drag and a tranny.)

Yes, you are alone. That big one was just a larger girl. No wonder larger girls have confidence issues with people like you equating them with men or trannies.

Ridiculous. She just was a larger girl. And there's nothing wrong with that. Actually I can blame you for thinking like that.

Not sure, I never really looked at her. I'm pretty sure they didn't use a dude in drag, but not need to attack the OP. She was probably there to make the cheer squad look authentic. Most "real" cheer squads have at least one girl who are can easily lift the girls. Which is the whole reasoning behind Avery becoming a cheerleader. We don't see that girl anywhere in that episode. Maybe her leaving had something to do with Avery getting recruited. They probably couldn't get another heavy-set girl so they figured let's get a super small middle-schooler.

The OP can have an opinion, and I don't see anyone aggressively jumping on Avery's side for accusations of being anorexic, which she probably isn't. However, that girl can choose to eat healthier. America has gotten to the point where obesity, (which is actually a disease) is acceptable, but chubbiness is acceptable. But if you're a fit girl, people accuse you of being anorexic or bulimic and if you're a fit guy, you're accused of being on steroids. But we have to be sensitive of someone who never exercises, eats cake at night time and drinks 4+ soda everyday.

I bet she doesn't have "confidence issues', She got paid because of her size and that alone. And while I don't remember what her face looks like, being "larger" isn't why she looks like a dude. There are many beautiful females who happen to be "larger". I'm no chubby-chaser, but I'd prefer a big pretty girl over a small ugly one. So lay of the original poster.

So lay "of" the original poster? Okay, I'll pick on you, instead.

You say embrace debate, but it seems you want to quash it. I have a problem with people saying women or girls look like a dude. And I think that's hurtful.

This has nothing to do with someone's weight. As for Avery, I've never knocked on her weight or called her anorexic. You're barking up the completely wrong tree on a totally unrelated topic.

I personally love fit women and never accuse them of being anorexic or bulimic. Again, wrong tree, Getoboy730.

And thanks for telling us more unrelated stuff about you not being a chubby chaser yet find some chubbier women attractive. Me, too.

You were reasonably polite, but I felt the OP was less than polite toward the "bigger girl".

I've no prob with debate (nor you) but don't tell people what to do. Just a piece of advice.

Well said.

"Of" instead of "off" was an auto correct mistake. Regardless. I won't get mad or worked up if I'm wrong about what I'm about to say or already said. Just saying that we all can have opinions. If someone thinks a girl looks like a dude in drag or a tranny, that is his opinion. I don't remember her but he could be right, what's wrong with pointing it out. Everyone isn't pretty, big deal, fact of life. I agree that it's bogus for the way the OP pointed it out or for even pointing it out, but he can say whatever he wants to, so can you, so can I.

Just for sake of debate, isn't saying "don't tell people what to do" telling someone what to do.

And I wasn't accusing you of knocking Avery for her weight. But funny how she has lots of people saying that, but everyone is scared to call a chubby person out for eating too much. Just drawing a parallel. I don't even know the OP, nor do I see it his way exactly. But you sounded pretty angry. While guys are part of the cause for low self-esteem in women, slimmer girls and the media plays a bigger part. I highly doubt his comment will reach that many "big girls". But all of them have a TV and the internet. True many other guys feel the same way or worse about them, but it's society and the Regina George's of the world that play a bigger part in low confident.

Wow, that's deep. That reminds me of the song Freewill by Rush: "If you choose not to decide, you still have made a choice."

Men calling women "dudes" is a pet peeve of mine. It's unkind on so many levels. Especially when it wasn't remotely true. I've re-watched the episode just to make sure.

I've no problem with men's personal preferences. Anyway, enough on this. I recently started watching Good Luck Charile (not sure if you're a Disney comedy aficionado or not). I'll continue watching, but like DWAB (as they call it here ;-) ) better.

Cool. It's cool that two people can be mature about something they have different views about. And I would consider my a Disney affionado. A year ago, I was probably the only person (maybe not the only one) who knew that DWAB would catch on while Sam and Cat would be hanging on by a thread at best, and I actually started off liking that show.

I hope DWAB wins the Emmy, if not then GLC. And it's not fair that they are against Degrassi, which shouldn't even be considered a children's show. They should make a new category for teens. That's like grouping Degrassi with Dora.

I do apologize and I will admit to being a jerk, especially when you weren't, by any means, a jerk to me.

We're fine, and you apologizing, Getoboy730, makes you one of the elite IMDbers. Cheers,
