You know the show is out of ideas when the lead female's character plots always revolve around a certain boy. They did this on GLC with Teddy and she's been boring since.

Avery 12-13 in Dog With a Blog Season One. And Riley Matthews 12-13 in Girls Meets World Season One. Both Avery & Riley get a first Boyfriend in Season 2 or later at 14 or older.

I didn't even notice that. Kinda funny. For some reason, I do find the Wes and Nikki episodes more entertaining. It's nice to have something going on in the show that's not going to be forgotten by the next episode. Granted, Nikki wasn't in the recent episode but you know she'll be back.

Think about shake it up. Rocky and Cece couldn't have boyfriends and they were in high school, on tv and looked much older Avery. And when they were able to date, they didn't even mention the rule being lifted. Avery was with Dustin in the 6th grade, but Rocky and Cece were at least 15 when they were started dating. Could be the parents.
Avery (for the writers) gets away with having b/f episodes because it seems much more innocent than CeCe having the same plot.

It would be totally unrealistic for a babe like G. Hannelius not to have boys chasing her on that show. I just hope she doesn't lose her looks like Alyssa Milano did on 'Who's the Boss' in the later years, as did Jennifer Love Hewitt on 'Party of Five'.

One thing about Miss Hannelius, is that she's short. Somebody uploaded a clip of her with Bradley Steven Perry in the Good Luck Charlie episode "Duncan vs. Duncan," and she was clearly short even back then. Maybe this is why it's so hard for some of the viewers to believe she's of dating age.
Yeah. WHat's strange is how her first appearance on GLC was about her liking Gabe. But I bet no one cared then. She's much older, but barely looks a year or two older and now it's a problem to some. I think it was more of a way to work Peyton Meyer into a already established show. Every current and past show has at least one character who recurred on a show before getting their own show. Him, China, G and Bridgit did multiple episodes on other shows. While Tseng, Bella, and Sabrina guest starred on shows shortly before getting a show. It's more a of coincidence than anything else. But when people mostly know here from GLC and SWAC she still seems like that same kid.

Neither Alyssa Milano nor Jennifer Love Hewitt "lost their looks." They just went from looking like cute young girls to looking like pretty young women. A 14/15 year old girl is not going to look the same when she's a 18/19 year old young woman. I especially think Alyssa was very beautiful during her last couple of seasons as Samantha.
