Strangely enough, there hasn't been a single mention.

It's not uncommon for shows about blended families to never acknowledge the biological parents e.g Step By Step, Brady Bunch, etc.
The only one in recent memory was "Life with Derek" (2005) where we met both Casey and Derek's biological mother and father respectively in different episodes.
I've always wondered if Chloe and Tyler even have the same bio mom.
