I can't believe how funny this show is.

I just discovered this on Christmas day. My nephew was watching it. I've since watched six more episodes, everything that was available On Demand. Every show was funny. The episodes where the Mom buys a parrot and the one with the next door neighbor believing Stan was a math genius had me nearly rolling on the floor. The cast is great and really sells the script. I'm sad to learn this show has been cancelled, but I'm glad there are sixty more shows I haven't seen yet.

Yeah, this show is typically despised by most Disney Channel watchers because it's outlandish, silly, and unrealistic. Those are exactly the reasons it was great. It's absurdist humor in the Seinfeld vein. It's also self-referential without being hokey. A lot of shows (especially kid's shows) that have self-referential humor is done with a big wink and a nod which just kills the humor.
