Congratulations to all involved with this project.
I have to say I'm impressed. I've read some of the dissenting reviews and well, you can't please everybody.
Considering the limited budget (seriously, a budget that would make Robert Rodriguez proud) this film really pulled it off.
The lighting was bad in parts, so bad you couldn't see what was even happening. But I found that to actually add to the suspense and tension.
The sound track was confusing. I couldn't tell what was the monster noise or just noise for effect. That too added to the tension.
There wasn't a lot of character development. But the main character, Tank, was awesome. I really felt for her every step of the way, I was rooting for her, I wanted her to succeed, I could literally feel her frustration. I even added her to my list of women who can sell kick ass. http://www.imdb.com/list/ls075353130/
I'm not particularly claustrophobic but there is no way I would have gone into such tiny confines for whatever these actors were getting - probably not even for SAG minimums. It's incredible what indie actors will do for the sake of a project.
Some of the supporting characters were well done but just didn't last long enough. But Nicole Alonso is top notch. I hope to be seeing a lot more from her in the future.
