How did The Hangman's Demise end?
For some reason our DVR stopped recording just as Father Brown hustled Mrs. McCarthy out of the restaurant and he sat down opposite George. We missed the big "howdunit" scene.
He got "max" to confess, the Hangman died after agreeing that he had poisoned himself as he didn't trust the police to convict the crooked detective who had become his friend and worker. There was a neat little rescitation by Father Brown something like fish swim, birds fly, a heart stops beating, we all must die . This to the gang who are always with him outside in the garden.
